Reservations of
accommodation are accepted at the Cardigan 1 Caravan at Quay West Holiday
Park subject to the following terms and Conditions of Hire.
1. Contract :The renting agent will act on behalf of
the caravan owners and all bookings will form a contract between the Hirer and the
Caravan owners.
2. Bookings: Upon receipt of your enquiry by email or
telephone, a cottage can be provisionally booked. This will be held for a period of
seven days only.
If no booking form and deposit is received within this period, then the
provisional booking will be cancelled. Any late booking payment by cheque must
be made at least 14 working days before occupancy otherwise online credit card
payment must be made by arrangement.
3.
Payment: Upon payment of the deposit and subject to acceptance of the
booking, the applicant becomes liable for the balance of the rent 6 weeks before
for the period of letting. Where payment in full has not been made by
this date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-advertise the
holiday.
If a holiday is cancelled within 28 days of the holiday, then there will be a refund
(see 29) only if the caravan owner is able to re-let the caravan for that week.
4. The caravan will be available to the hirer during the period shown on the confirmation
letter from the agent.
5. The caravans sleeps a maximum of 6 people and at no time must this be exceeded.
6. The caravan is only available for rent by families and responsible couples.
Quay West Holiday Park will not allow all male or all female parties.
7.
No pets allowed. If a pet is found to be staying in this caravan,
that will constitute a breach of contract and guests will be asked
to leave the caravan immediately with no refund.
8. External factors: West Wales Caravans has no
control over, and cannot be held liable for external factors that
could possibly affect a Holiday such as the weather, local
traffic, local events, neighbours, children playing, electricity,
gas and water supply
and the vagaries of television and mobile phone reception,
or any financial losses incurred as a result of external factors. West Wales
Caravans cannot be held responsible for problems associated with any services
provided by Quay West Holiday Park.
9. Strictly NO SMOKING inside caravan. However smoking is permitted on the outside
patio area.
Please discard carefully.
10. Accommodation Prices listed exclude optional
entertainment complex passes (these are available from the Quay West Holiday Park
office )
11. The area surrounding your hire caravan must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
12.
Clothes are to be dried on the airer provided and at no time are they
to be dried over heaters and clothes lines are not to be erected.
13. Tents are not allowed between caravans.
14. Park speed limits must not be exceeded.
15.
In the event of behaviour likely to cause offence or damage to other
users of the facilities, the park management reserves the right to
remove any offenders from the park without redress.

All persons using the entertainment complex must honour the Quay West
club rules. Membership is discretionary and may be withdrawn at any
time by the park management. Daily and weekly passes are available from
main reception.
17. Please keep noise to a minimum and show consideration to other caravan owners and occupiers at all times.
18. Litter and refuse must be disposed of in the designated areas provided by the park.
19. Ball games are to be played in designated areas and not between caravans.
20. No motorcycles are allowed on the park without the express written permission of the park manager.
21. Please remove all dirty footwear on entering the caravan.
22. Do not disarm smoke alarms. Press hush panel located on the alarms themselves should they be activated during cooking activity.
23. All electrical and domestic goods and heaters, must be switched off upon leaving the van.
24. Sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and other linen items are not provided.
25. Park rules apply at all times.
26. Cars may be parked on the designated parking area. Please avoid parking
on the grass. Use designated overflow car parks provided by the park.
27. Caravans must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure and please time your arrival to be not before
4.00pm.
28. The caravan must be left clean and tidy at the end of your stay. If you
do not have time to clean the caravan, an additional charge of £30 may be made
to the person booking subsequent to your holiday.
29. Refunds: Any cancellation or refund for any
reason following payment of a deposit or balance
is subject to a £20 administration fee. If cancellation occurs for any reason within 28 days of the start of the holiday, he
/ she should advise us
immediately by telephone or e-mail followed by a confirmatory letter. Upon
receipt of such letter (but without any obligation to the hirer) West Wales
Caravans will attempt
to obtain a replacement letting, and if such a letting is obtained, will then
refund to the hirer any monies paid less the administration fee. If the agents are unable to re-let, then
the agents shall be entitled to retain all payments already made. We advise
guests to arrange cancellation insurance with the insurer of your choice to
cover such an eventuality.
30. Oxygen This caravan has not been designated for the use of oxygen
cylinders for respiratory problems. West Wales Caravans has only one caravan
inspected by the fire department for the use of oxygen cylinders. Please contact
West Wales Caravans if you need to use oxygen cylinders.
31.Complaints: Every effort has been made to ensure that
you have an enjoyable holiday. If however, you have any cause for
complaint please contact the owner immediately if any problem arises
so that it can be speedily resolved. We cannot subsequently consider any
complaints or enter into any correspondence about them unless this procedure has
been followed. If guests choose to terminate their holiday early for any reason
and the above procedure has not been followed, then the owners are entitled to
retain the full rental payment already made.
32. Cleaning and maintenance of the caravan - West Wales
Caravans act only as booking agents and have no responsibility for the cleaning
and maintenance of this property. This is entirely the responsibility of the
owners and all questions regarding cleaning and maintenance should be addressed
to them.
